Objects with the Topic Interface represent a solace topic. The Solace appliance delivers messages based on the topic. In the JavaRTO API a Topic can be either a Destination or a Subscription. A Topic can be used in any method that takes either a Destination or a Subscription as an argument.

Topics must be created by the one of the Allocators:

• Solclient.Allocator.newTopic()
• SessionHandle.createTemporaryTopic()
