Installation

To install the Solace Java RTO API, download and unzip the archive file for your supported platform. The installation package provides everything you need to develop messaging applications, including API libraries, documentation, and sample code to help you get started.

The extracted package contains the following subdirectories in the /solclientj directory:

docs — Solace Java RTO API developer reference documentation
lib — Solace Java RTO API libraries
license — contains the Apache license version 2.0 agreement and JZlib license for use with Solace Java RTO API
samples — contains Solace Java RTO API sample applications that provide a basic introduction to how to use the API for messaging applications; for detailed information, see the readme.txt file included in this directory
