Creating a Message VPN Bridge

Message VPN bridges can link two Message VPNs so that messages published to one Message VPN that match the topic subscriptions set for the bridge are also delivered to the linked Message VPN. For more information, see Message VPN Bridges.

In PubSub+ Broker Manager, you can use the Click-to-Connect wizard to set up a Message VPN bridge.

If you are setting up a Message VPN bridge for an event broker service, you need to generate an API token to allow the Click-to-Connect wizard to authenticate with the event broker service. For more information, see Creating an API Token for Click-to-Connect.

To set up a Message VPN bridge, perform these steps:

1. Open Broker Manager. For instructions, see Using PubSub+ Broker Manager.
2. In the navigation bar, click Bridges.
3. Select the Static Bridges tab.
4. Click + Click-to-Connect.
5. Choose the type of event broker to connect to:
   • for a software event broker or appliance, select Solace Broker Message VPN
   • for an event broker service, select Solace Cloud Service
6. Follow the steps in the wizard to specify the connection details, configure the remote VPN, and test the connection.
7. Follow the steps in the wizard to add subscriptions.
8. Click Apply.

The new bridge appears in the Static Bridges list for the Message VPN.
