Insights Advanced Manager Role

If you have a PubSub+ Insights subscription, you can assign the Insights Advanced Manager role to an individual in your organization to allow them to manage Datadog API and APP keys. The Insights Advanced Manager can also delegate access for Datadog integrations for the Datadog account included with Insights. Solace provides this feature as controlled availability.

When using the Insights Advanced Manager role, be aware of the following restrictions:

  • Solace recommends restricting the Insights Advanced Manager role to one or two individuals in your organization.

  • Only use integrations approved by Solace (e.g., ServiceNow, PagerDuty).

  • Contact Solace to consult about using non-approved integrations.

  • Refrain from using Marketplace integrations.

  • Review the security implications of each Datadog integration before installing it.
