The version adoption process determines the versions of the software event broker to which you can upgrade your event broker services. Upgrading to a newer version of the software event broker allows you to adopt new features and to modernize your event broker services. Solace introduced a new versioning scheme and support policy with the release of event broker service 10.25.0. How and when you can update your event broker service differs according to the version and support scheme of the version installed on the event broker service. For more information, see:

Updating Event Broker Services Prior to Version 10.25.0
Different versions of the software event broker also have different support timelines in PubSub+ Cloud. These dates may influence the timing of your upgrades. Updating Event Broker Services After Version 10.25.0
As of the release of broker version 10.25.0, Solace provides two years of support to all versions of the software event broker in PubSub+ Cloud. We provide maintenance releases every two weeks for the Long Term Support releases. The Rolling releases do not receive maintenance releases, but you can upgrade at any time to any release after your currently installed release.
