Agents

Agents enable seamless integration of AI capabilities into existing event flows without complex coding to perform specific tasks or provide domain-specific knowledge. Agents connect to PubSub+ event broker services for reliable and secure processing of events.

Agents allow you to quickly deploy the capabilities of large language models (LLMs) and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) in your event mesh. LLMs are used for various tasks like text generation, summarization, translation, transformation, and answering complex questions. They excel at understanding context and producing coherent, relevant responses. You can think of RAG as an intelligent research assistant for your knowledgeable colleague. While LLMs generate responses based on their training and the examples you provide in the prompt, RAG enhances the capabilities of LLMs by allowing them to access external information sources in real time.

You can use Agents for tasks like analyzing customer feedback, translating product descriptions, or making recommendations based on items in an order.
