Creating an Agent Mesh

When you create an agent mesh from the Solace Agent Mesh Manager, you create the mesh and specify an event broker service that it connects to.

Before you create the agent mesh, you must have an event broker service available in Solace Cloud to enable agents to send messages across your event mesh. You can connect multiple agent meshes to a single event broker service. An event broker service connected to an agent mesh must meet these requirements:

• It must be deployed in a Dedicated Cluster.
• It must have an enterprise service class.
• The default solace-cloud-client username must exist.

To create an agent mesh, perform these steps:

1. Log in to the Solace Cloud Console if you have not done so yet. The URL to access the Cloud Console differs based on your authentication scheme. For more information, see Logging In to the Solace Cloud Console.
2. On the navigation bar, select Agent Mesh Manager .
3. Select the environment containing the event broker service that you intend to connect the agent mesh to. The agent mesh and the event broker service must be in the same environment. For more information, see Selecting Environments.
4. Click Create New Agent Mesh.
5. Enter a Name for the agent mesh.
6. (Optional) Enter a Description for the agent mesh.
7. Select the event broker service for the agent mesh.
8. Click Create Agent Mesh.

Completing Agent Mesh Setup

After you create an agent mesh in Agent Mesh Manager, you perform most configuration tasks outside of Solace Cloud.

To complete the agent mesh setup, perform these steps:

1. (Optional) Enable SSO for the agent mesh. For more information, see Enabling SSO for an Agent Mesh.
2. In the top-right corner of the Details or Manage tab for the agent mesh, click Open Agent Mesh.
3. Click Login.

4. If you have not enabled SSO, enter the Username sam-admin and then copy and paste the Admin Password from the agent mesh details into the Password field.

   If you have completely enabled SSO, the Agent Mesh web interface opens without requiring you to enter your credentials.

5. In the Agent Mesh web interface, click Go to Models to enter your large language model (LLM) details to complete setup.

After setup is complete, you perform most updates to your agent mesh in the Agent Mesh web interface.
