Managing Agent Meshes in Solace Cloud

Solace Agent Mesh Manager is an Early Access (EA) feature available in Solace Cloud and is subject to ongoing change and improvements. Please contact Solace if you are interested in using this feature.

Solace Agent Mesh is an event-driven, agentic-AI framework that provides security through single sign-on integration, access control through role-based permissions, data management for cost optimization, and observability tools for monitoring agent workflows and system performance. For more information, see the Solace Agent Mesh documentation.

Solace is introducing the capability to create agent meshes in Solace Cloud. The EA version of Agent Mesh Manager in Solace Cloud enables you to quickly create agent meshes and connect them to an event broker service, and to view all of your agent meshes in one place.

Considerations

If you want to use the EA version of Agent Mesh Manager to create and manage agent meshes, you must be aware of the following considerations:

  • Your organization access to Agent Mesh Manager in Solace Cloud.
  • The event broker service that you connect to the agent mesh must reside in a Dedicated Cluster and have an Enterprise service class.
  • For security and user management, Solace recommends using single sign-on (SSO) with your implementation of both Solace Cloud and your agent meshes.
  • Connectivity requirements for Agent Mesh Manager and connecting agent meshes to event broker services are similar to other Solace Cloud connectivity requirements. For more information, see Deploying and Managing Agent Mesh Manager.

Getting Started with Agent Mesh Manager

To use Agent Mesh Manager to create and manage agent meshes, you need to complete several tasks to get started.

Step 1

Set up Solace Agent Mesh Enterprise.

Solace Agent Mesh Enterprise must be installed and configured. For more information, see the Solace Agent Mesh documentation.

Step 2

Log in to the Solace Cloud Console and verify that you have access to Agent Mesh Manager.

To verify that you have access, on the navigation bar, click Agent Mesh Manager .

To use Agent Mesh Manager, you must have one of these Solace Cloud user roles:

Event broker services used with Agent Mesh must

For more information, see Creating Event Broker Services.

Step 4

Create your first agent mesh in Agent Mesh Manager.

For more information, see Creating an Agent Mesh.

Step 5

(Optional) Enable SSO for your agent mesh.

For more information, see Enabling SSO for an Agent Mesh.

For information about managing SSO for agent meshes, see Enabling SSO in the Solace Agent Mesh documentation.

Step 6

Open the agent mesh in the Agent Mesh web interface and configure the large language model (LLM) settings for the agent mesh.

If you have not configured SSO you log in using the credentials provided in Agent Mesh Manager.

For more information, see Model Configurations in the Solace Agent Mesh documentation.

Step 7

Configure your agent mesh to meet your needs according to the Agent Mesh Enterprise documentation.

Most configuration occurs outside of Solace Cloud. For more information about what you can manage in Agent Mesh Manager, see Working with Agent Meshes.

Solace Agent Mesh and Solace Cloud Releases
